MekTek Solutions is an Ottawa-based computer hardware and consulting business that was founded in March 2003 as a sole-proprietorship in the province of Ontario. It specializes in computer systems, for both home and business for a range of needs, including gaming, rendering, Internet, workstation, productivity, and servers. Originally founded by Carleton University students, the company has now expanded to bring on task the talents of graduates from many different fields, expanding its products into networking, database maintenance and merging, disaster recovery planning, security, custom needs assessment, web design, custom software design, professional consulting services and more.
The market of the company has grown from its original base in the Ottawa area, and opportunities are coming up in cities across Canada, including Gatineau, Hull, Toronto, and London. New projects are being planned for deployment across North America.
